ALL THINGS FASHION.....TAKING IT BACK TO THE 70s WITH Fendi"s RESORT 2013 COLLECTION...

Taking it back to the 70s for Fendi Resort 2013 Collection

Fendi has just unveiled their Resort 2013 collection and the stamp of the 1970s is clearly shown in the collection though with a twist, came across it while going through one of their blogs and loved it,
decided to share it on my blog since i havent blogged in a long time, hope you like it as much as i do *kisses* ;-)
113 70s Twist for Fendi Resort 2013 Collection
Karl Lagerfield, the creative force behind Fendi (as well as Chanel) brought about the 1970′s feel through the designs that he incorporated in the collection. Most of the collection was really feminine with skirts and classic-shaped dresses. The twist for the collection comes in the form of accessories like the shoes and bags as well as the fringe incorporated in some pieces. The fringe was done impeccably thus giving the Fendi woman a modern feel despite originating from the 1970′s vibe.

One thing that is interesting in the collection is the color paletter utilized in the collection. Color blocking is clearly evident in the collection but the colors used where very vibrant like pink, yellow, and blue. The prints utilized were also vibrant as it is very eye-catching even from afar.

It is safe to say based on this collection that Karl Lagefield has never lost his touch when it comes to creating classic and modern fashion.

MissKhethi Fashion Tips About Style Every women should know.......

MissKhethi Fashion Tips,Every Women Should Know........

1. Choose your clothes according to your body type

Some things look great on plastic dolls and plastic dolls only which, of course, doesn’t mean you should give up in your search for a perfect outfit. I’m not lying to you, ladies, I’ve seen smoking hot gals turn barely average after trying something that looked amazing on a doll in the shop window. You must be aware of your flaws and your virtues and focus on clothes that will bring out only the best of your features.

2. Look and feel slim with ultra trendy prints and asymmetric clothes

Prints are ultra popular this year and the same goes for asymmetric tunics and dresses so, if you have some extra pounds you’d like to hide, this should be very good news for you. Choose vertical patterns, prints that make you look slim and asymmetric tunics and dresses that do have some shape – remember that nobody looks good in shapeless clothes.

3. Belts are a must have

Cute, eye-catching, funky, bold – a good belt is always a great investment because this simple accessory can make or break the entire outfit. But, this simple accessory does more than that – it also accents your waist making your legs appear longer and leaner. So, if you have a baggy tunic, cardigan or a simple dress, don’t think twice about it, add an interesting belt! And the next time you go shopping, remember this fashion stylist tips and pick a nice belt or tw

4. Shop for outfits

Don’t shop for single pieces simply because they are cheap, cute or both because you know you’ll never wear them.Shop for outfits instead and before you decide to buy some piece of clothes, try to think of at least three different outfits you can wear it with. If you follow the shoes + bag rule and could never work mismatching shoes and bag, always buy your shoes and bags together to make sure they are a perfect match.

5. Accessories can save the day

Anything can be a new black if you have the right accessories! You can wear purple, turquoise, navy, beige, brown or even white dress and still look like a million bucks but the only thing you must remember is to accessorize properly. A single color outfit will make you slimmer and taller so, in order to keep this flattering visual effect, and loose nothing on charm, I suggest an interesting necklace and a bracelet. A statement piece could be your secret weapon although you shouldn’t really wear more than one statement piece in the same time.

6. Always wear matching undergarments

The next one of my favorite, totally basic fashion stylist tips is underwear so, if you don’t want to look like a luggage, you should definitely pay attention to what you’re wearing under your clothes. Even the most minimal thongs can show if the bands are too tight and we all know that’s not a pretty sight so, before you leave your home, make sure you check yourself for underwear lines too.

SEVEN SIGNES THAT YOUR MAKEUP HAS EXPIRED......

7 Telling Signs That Your Makeup Has Expired …

1. Mascara

The mascara tube is a real shady character because the dark and moist environment is a breeding ground for bacteria that can cause a plethora of infections. Aside from keeping tabs on how long you’ve had your tube, sniff your mascara to see if has any foul smells. Toss anything that smells like gas or just plain off and replace mascara every 3-4 months to be on the safe side, it’s hard to look cute with pink eye.

2. Liquid Foundation

Have you ever browsed the makeup section at the dollar store and saw those bottles of foundation that have changed color? That’s definitely a telling sign of makeup expiration as well as changes in texture and smell of the formula. Most water-based foundations last up to a year while oil-based foundations last up to 18 months. If your water-based foundation has dried up after a few months, try adding some drops of an alcohol-free toner to get the creamy texture back.

3. Concealers

Concealers are meant to conceal and disguise but they can’t hide the signs of expired makeup! Look for changes in color and texture when you check out your concealer for any signs of expiration. Most concealers last a year or more depending on whether they are of the liquid or stick variety. Stick concealers should last you up to two years whereas liquids are good for one year. Always apply makeup with clean hands and no matter how much your BFF begs, avoid sharing any beauty products to avoid infection.

4. Lipstick

You would think that spotting expired makeup like lipstick would be easy to recognize but it’s not always easy to tell. One of the best ways to tell if your lipstick has expired is if it is dry and has changed in texture. Lipstick tends to last up to two years and once it’s too old, it won’t go on or look as creamy on your lips. The problem I have is that some lipsticks I buy tend to have a drier formula and don’t exactly glide on my lips so the best way I determine whether it’s too old is to smell it. If it smells stale, it’s time to toss it.

5. Eyeliner

No matter how desperate I am for eyeliner, I never mess around with any eye makeup that could be expired; my eyes are too precious! If you spot a white tip on your pencil liner that you can’t get rid of by sharpening or shaving it, it’s time for it to go. If your liquid liner is starting to get dry or clumpy, toss it in the trash! Old eye makeup doesn’t work well anyway so toss any expired eye makeup and avoid a trip to the doctor’s.

6. Blush

I like to think that blush lasts forever, I know the sure signs of expired blush are a dull gray film on the product or any change in texture. Powder blushes tend to last longer than cream blushes and the best way to keep your blush in tip-top condition is to clean your blush brush after each use and to keep it in a dark area.

7. Eye Shadow

Applying eye shadow is my favorite part of my beauty routine. I love how you can create different looks with the swipe of a brush! In order to see if your eye shadow has gone bad, look for any changes in color and smell. Make it a habit to always use clean hands when applying eye makeup and replace your shadows every 2-3 months.
I know it’s hard to part with your favorite beauty products but old makeup doesn’t work well and it’s definitely not worth an infection! The best way to prolong the life of your makeup is to store your products in a dark and cool environment away from sunlight and moisture. Think of purging your old makeup like a new start and a great excuse to hit up Sephora for some new makeup!
